Evidence of process is seen through experimental, improvised performance (derived and developed from the initial ideas at the Whitechapel Gallery 30th April), transferred to film and timelines through photographic ‘stop motion’.
Connections now need to be made between the choreography and the site – as experiments have mainly taken place off site, the performance and then the choreography will start to connect back to the site, from where these ideas initiates. Plan for the next step: starting ideas in one place/site – moving them off site to explore, detach (borrow) and evaluate (allowing complete experimentation in terms of location, ‘actors’, ‘props’ and movement – then being ‘ready’ to re-produce/install the performance, this time as a complete choreography on site.
CAD drawings to be produced, choreography placed within the space, visually and thorough maquettes, moving image etc. Original ideas; visuals, sketches, photos, film footage to be carefully compiled into a research and development document.
